Senior Demolition Estimator – Job Spec
Brief Outline
• An industry leading contractor in the civil engineering, demolition and enabling industry requires an experienced Estimator to oversee tender and estimating processes for various commercial and infrastructure projects in the Midlands region on a permanent basis, with view to progressing to a more senior management role in the commercial team.
• The estimating team will be responsible for pricing a diverse range of contracts, with a broad range of experience in demolition, enabling, earthworks and remediation being useful in this role.

About the Role
• Overseeing tender submissions, and contract documents for financial and commercial presentation

• To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, Project Managers and attend pre-contract meetings when needed.

Our client, an established and growing interior fit out contractor is on the lookout for an established Quantity Surveyor to carry out surveying duties on Industrial, Retail, Leisure, Healthcare and Educational projects in the Northwest region.

The role will include the development of close relations with both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining profitable projects.

About the Role
• Conduct occasional site visits
• Prepare tender and contract documentation
• Involvement in the pre-contract and estimating project phases
• Using drawings and specifications to produce Bills of Quantities

We are currently dealing with an exciting opportunity for a market leading client of ours, who are looking for a Scaffolding Design Engineer to work out of their Manchester office, with flexible working conditions. They are looking at candidates with relevant scaffolding and temporary works design experience for sizeable project in the variety of sectors they cover.
Wider knowledge of access and temporary works would be a bonus, whilst strong knowledge of AutoCAD, UK regulations and codes of practice are required.

Required Skills

Relevant experience of construction design that includes scaffolding and temporary works with AutoCAD skills are essential, as well as good general IT skills.
