Technical Sales Manager 

– Height Safety & Fall Protection Equipment – Job Spec 

Our client are a leading height safety equipment company offering solutions to the construction and end user market based in North West area covering the whole of the UK.  They are currently looking for a varied role as a Project Manager/ Technical Sales Manager to oversee pre contracts phases of a projects through to involvement in planning and delivery.  

The overall responsibility will be delivering projects within planned margins whilst also meeting the needs of the business in achieving our monthly targets whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.

You will be involved in business development, planning, design, supply and install stages of height safety and fall protection equipment projects. You will work closely with operational and commercial teams in project delivery and liaising with the contracts department for schedules, logistics, procurement as well as client liaison and site meetings. The projects will vary in size and multiple contracts will need to be handled at any one time.

This is a key role within the company which will make a direct contribution to our strategic development in terms of business and margin growth.

The Role:

•    Business Development and advising on technical aspect of solutions provided 

•    Planning and delivery for varied height safety and fall protection projects with utmost attention to detail and safety.

•    Producing Bill of materials (BOM) and Risk assessment & method statement (RAMS) as required.

•    Participate in all relevant training as specified by the Company from time to time.

•    Consult with the Designers, Estimators and Operational teams during your daily workday.

•    Liaising with clients and external stakeholders. 

Education & Experience

•    Experience in a project management or sales role for the height safety sector. 

•    Proven track record of managing client expectations and delivering projects. 

•    Relationship management with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.

•    Valid UK driving license.
