• An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scaffolding Design Manager to join our client’s technical team and progress the department throughout the company’s ongoing expansion.

About the Role
• In this role you will be mainly office based, with the occasional site and client visits where required, while carrying out full Design Management duties.
• You will be responsible for the formal reporting of each project where you will report to the Operations Director as well as working with other management staff.
• Managing in house scaffolding designers and external outsourced resources.
• You will ensure that the planning, management and coordination is successful and that financial control within the project margin is maintained.
• The ideal candidate will have an in-depth scaffolding design background and CAD experience. You will also be able to lead and manage a design office.

About the Candidate
• Previous experience in design scaffolding for large scale residential and commercial projects
• Experience in design management is preferable
• Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge and understanding of joinery, carpentry and fit-out industry

This role suits someone from a Civil Engineering background, who has focused on foundations, piling, or groundworks to some degree.

Our client, a medium sized, employee-owned M&E contractor with an exceptional client & sub-contractor reputation, are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join them working on projects ranging from £100k - £6m across the commercial, residential, education, leisure, health and pharma sectors. This role is available due to organisational expansion.
