• Compile Site Audits and Safety Reports

• Ensure all RAMS are continually updated and correctly implemented

• Assist with maintaining current company accreditations

• Involvement with client contact and assist with H&S elements of tender submissions

• Maintain and develop the company’s H&S training matrix

• Assist with In-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.

• Previous experience in overseeing scaffolding works from a H&S background or management background

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious qualified Trainee Quantity Surveyor with ambition to progress to a more senior role within the company’s commercial team in the future.



Duties and responsibilities will include;

Working with the Commercial Manager to ensure successful delivery of projects

Undertaking costing analysis, take-offs and procurement schedules

Monthly reporting

Applications for payment

Identifying and negotiating variations

Material requisitions to the Buying department

Attend meetings with clients and colleagues

Approve Sub-Contractor valuations

About the Candidate

HNC/ HND / Degree in a construction related field

Wider knowledge of the construction industry

Familiar with site visits and client facing activity

Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy and communication skills in English

Demolition Project Manager Role – Job Description
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join and contribute to a market leading multi-disciplined demolition, decommissioning, civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks and remediation company for their growing demolition department dealing with jobs in the London area. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing allocated portfolio of projects in the region, from planning through to handover, ensuring they are run safely, on budget and meeting/exceeding customer expectations.

Candidate’s experience required
• Experienced Project Manager with significant knowledge and understanding of a wide range of traditional demolition, dismantling, structural alterations, façade retention, strip out and asbestos related projects.
• Excellent understanding of Health and Safety requirements, and Industry legislation and regulations, ensuring projects are legally compliant.
• Awareness and understanding of operational and financial targets.
• Ability to direct a team to deliver the business’ primary objectives with the ability to mentor and motivate where necessary.
Skills and qualities required
• In depth understanding of demolition and related understanding of wider construction and enabling industry
