Our client, a multi-disciplined Fit Out Contractor, is seeking a Commercially focussed Estimator within the Drylining, Raised Access Flooring, Partitions and Metal Ceilings markets to join their young and dynamic team.

About the Role
• Submit complete bids and budgets by the allocated deadline
• Maintain close communication with subcontractors
• Review awarded tender drawings with Project team and highlight areas of concern
• Highlighting subcontractors and materials that require lead times for design and materials
• Prepare and maintains tenders using sub-contractor submissions, first principles, contract rates or Labour and Materials
• Prepare subcontractor bid packages and cost analysis for tenders
• Minimize exclusions to the tender by liaising with client and subcontractor
• Working well under pressure to meet tight deadlines, without compromising on detail
• Reading engineering, architects, design and build drawings to produce take offs.
About the Candidate
• At least 3 years of Estimating experience within the Commercial sector (Healthcare, Offices, Datacentres, Airports)
• Relevant degree preferred but not required
• Be a detail orientated self-starter with the ability to prioritise and work well within a team
• Possess a tech-savvy mindset and utilize programs efficiently
• Be self-motivated & punctual.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Manage multiple tasks and possess excellent follow up skills
• Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities

Brief Outline



An established and growing company in the scaffolding market requires an Operations Manager to oversee commercial and operational functions on a range of projects across the London and South East region.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing ongoing projects for tier 1&2 clients in the construction sector, while being involved with commercial aspects, assisting with tender stages, managing costs for the projects and being responsible for the overall performance and progress of the division as a whole.

The Operations Manager will be accountable for the Operational, Safety and Financial delivery of projects.
Report into Director level.

Managing costs for on-going projects and liaising with surveyors and the commercial team

Previous experience in overseeing scaffolding contracts for main contractor and developer clients

An industry leading company in Ceilings & Partitioning sectors requires a Contracts Manager to oversee various projects, largely in the commercial, residential, hotel & leisure, educational and retail sectors within the London region on a permanent basis.
Contracts Manager will be working on projects primarily in London & South East regions within the commercial sector. Projects range from 50k to £1M plus.
The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the project and its progress.
About the Role
• The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, financially, on time and to client expectations.
• The candidate will need to maintain strong client relationships, operating from head office and on sites across London.
• The successful candidate absolutely must have solid experience working within the ceilings and partition industry in a Contracts Management or Project Management role.

• Must have good IT and communication skills.
• Be able to work to deadlines & under pressure.
• Be able to liaise with clients, sub-contractors and internal staff.
• Commercially astute.
• Ability to highlight risks & manage/price variations as they arise.

• Ability to control all commercial aspects of each project from inception to completion.
• Hold a valid CSCS card (black OR gold).
