Passive Fire Protection Project Manager

Brief Outline
Our industry leading client, established with over 20 years in the Passive Fire Protection sector, is looking for an experienced Passive Fire Project Manager to oversee Fire Stopping Installation & remedial contracts on varied projects, predominantly within the commercial, residential and industrial sectors.

About the Role
Key responsibilities of this role would include but not be limited to:
• Day to day management of allocation portfolio of work
• Ensuring that projects are completed according to scope, on time and within budget
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Clients, Surveyors and fellow Managers to ensure seamless transition for all projects stages from estimation through to execution
• Ensure that all works are carried out in strict accordance with health and safety guidelines
• To assist the management team in the overall planning and management of any given project

About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
• Possess a stable track record with dealings in Fire Stopping contracts on a management level
• Be well versed in areas of Passive Fire Protection products, systems and installation methodologies
• Have the keen ability to prioritise tasks
• Display leadership in technical expertise, constructive guidance and commercial viability to both internal and external stakeholders
• Be analytically minded with a knack for problem solving
• Have the ability to navigate a PC
• Possess commercial know-how
• Work effectively and collaboratively through communication with the team and clients alike to ensure successful completions of any given project
• Stay up to date with local and national building codes; fire protection regulations; and industry best practices to ensure full project compliance.

And will be in possession of one or more of the following qualifications:
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection or
• FIRAS qualification
• Possess a valid CSCS Card
• Fire Safety Inspection Diploma (FSIDip) or similar

Fire Door Site Manager

Location: Basildon

Salary: £45,000 to 55,000 Per Year

• An industry leading company in the fire protection market requires a Site Manager to oversee fire door installation and remedial works on site for a variety of projects including local authority and residential sectors within the London and South East region on a permanent basis, offering a competitive package and the potential to progress to a more senior position within the company’s operations team in the future.
• The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the project and its progress.

• Our client has been active in the fire protection sector for over 30 years with an established client base and consistent work across the UK. The undertaken varied contracts from Passive Fire Protection through to Fire Doors and other associated services.

About the Role
• Responsibility for day to day management of fire door install and remedial work on site
• Responsibility for ensuring work is completed on a time to a high standard.
• To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, other Project Managers and attend site meetings.
• Ensure all works are carried out under health and safety guidelines.

About the Candidate
• Previous experience in management of fire door projects on site
• Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
• Displays strong leadership skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• PC literate
• Commercially aware
