About our client 

• My client is a reputable company that has been operating in the Steelwork and Metalwork industry for over 40 years. Notably, they have their own production facility located on site along with twenty-five site teams erecting steelwork and fitting metalwork, (balustrading, stairs etc.). They are now looking to add an Estimator to their team in the Cheshire area.

About the Role 

• Prepare detailed cost estimate for projects including labor, materials, hires and equipment and any other overhead costs.
• Utilize industry-standard pricing databases and other data to ensure accuracy.
• Be able to present tenders accurately and professionally to client.
• Receive written and verbal enquiries.
• Follow up on submitted quotations.
• Liaise with clients and understand their requirements.
• Prepare and send written/computerized tenders and quotations.

About the Candidate                                        

• Previous experience in an Estimating role
• Experience within the Construction and Structural Steel industries.
• Knowledge of interpreting technical elements and requirements of engineered drawings
• Attention to detail and industry knowledge to contribute to successful tenders/quotes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good numeracy and computer skills
• Possession of a clean full UK Driving License
