Our client is currently seeking a Senior Main Contracting Quantity Surveyor with specialized experience in the healthcare sector. This role will involve working on projects in various sectors including healthcare, residential, office, leisure, and retail, primarily in and around the London area. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for visiting project sites as needed to oversee and manage quantity surveyor tasks.

Some key responsibilities for this role might include:

1. Managing and overseeing the cost aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
3. Conducting feasibility studies and cost control procedures.
4. Evaluating and advising on contractor and subcontractor payments.
5. Negotiating and agreeing on variations and final accounts.
6. Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes.
7. Collaborating with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and project managers.

In addition to possessing strong quantity surveying skills, the ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the healthcare sector to effectively manage the unique challenges and requirements of such projects. They should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work well within a team environment.

Salary: £70 000 – £80 000
