Our clients Worcestershire Office is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Department Head, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation within the Fire Protection Industry. If you possess expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and Canute FHC, we invite you to apply your Design Engineering skills and help us redefine the future of fire protection.
This is an office-based role located in Worcestershire, requiring the successful candidate to be present Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor Trainee Design Engineers
- Generate 3D Models and Hydraulic Calculations
- Create Detailed Plans and Sections of Sprinkler Systems
- Size Sprinkler Fire Pumps and Tanks
- Design High-Pressure Water Mist Systems, Dry and Wet Risers, Hydrant Systems, Gas Suppression Systems, and Sprinklers
- Develop Water Supply Builders Work Layouts
- Establish and Manage Design Programme and Tracker Documents
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Canute FHC
- LPCB Basic and FHC Examinations certification
- Familiarity with Canute Software
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Methodical with a keen attention to detail
- Clean driving license
- Valid CSCS Card
