A leading flooring company providing up-to-date innovative solutions for all types of businesses, government offices, schools, and hospitals.
About the Role:
- Working closely with our clients Commercial Department
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, pricing matrix, takeoffs etc
- Preparing Valuations and Pricing of Variations
- Liaising with the Procurement team to order materials for site having sourced the best prices and terms from Suppliers.
- negotiating and closing sales with clients and upon securing works ensuring handover of a clear Job Pack to the Contracts Team.
- Visiting our sites when required
- Liaising with our contracts team and supervisors on site
- Dealing with any queries that may arise
- Measuring projects using Bluebeam and Masterpiece Software packages.
- Completing ‘Tick sheets’ of the drawings using Excel
- Any other tasks requested by the Commercial Team
About the Candidate:
- Experience in the Construction Industry
- Experience in the Commercial/Residential Flooring sector
- Previous experience working as an Estimator or Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar.
- Can work to meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable in a high-pressure environment
- Using Bluebeam, Masterpiece or another construction software of similar format.
- Able to work as part of a team
