We are currently recruiting for a Fire Protection Project Manager to be based at our clients’ South East London office, overseeing Contracts based within the London and South East region.  

About the role

You’ll be responsible for managing various fire stopping contracts within the local authority market and your roles and responsibilities would include: 

    • Manage daily running of contracts to complete work to quality, time and compliance.

    • Conform with Fire Protection audit process

    • Understand and implement safe systems of work

    • Manage the running of contracts on site so work is completed on time, to required standard ensuring Operatives are advised on the required level of compliance permitting third party sign off

    • Manage workforce quality and adherence to specifications

    • Provide regular feedback (verbal and written reports) to Operations Team.

    • Attend and contribute within client meetings as necessary

    • Assist with Development and growth of the fire protection business within the region.

About the candidate

    • Relevant experience of Project Management in a similar role from within the property services/ facilities or construction industry.

    • Demonstrable experience of managing direct labour, including development and performance management of a trade-based team

    • A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) preferred but not essential

    • A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

    • The ability to build successful, partnering working relationships with customers and employees

    • An understanding of cost and risk management; working within budgets.
