Position: Area Sales Manager – Temporary Buildings and Structures

Location: North UK 

Salary: £50 000 basic, with uncapped commission 

Our client, a leading temporary buildings and structures manufacturing and installation company is on the search for an experienced Area Sales Manager. This role will focus on driving and securing business across the North of the UK.

With the potential to earn a six-figure OTE, this position offers realistic sales targets and the opportunity for professional growth.

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales turnover in your designated region. This will involve selling and hiring a variety of portable building products with varying specifications, sizes, and capacities.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the competitive temporary structures, modular builds, portable cabins, or similar industries. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a sales strategy and targets to achieve revenue KPIs.
• Converting new product inquiries into successful sales by understanding the client’s needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Expanding current business relationships and winning new business with existing clients.
• Keeping the sales director updated with pipelines, forecasted sales, trends, and account details.
• Maintaining contact with major customers to sustain hire and sales volumes and identify additional needs.
• Delivering technical and bespoke portable building solution presentations.
• Providing accurate quotes for new business opportunities.
• Consulting with clients on the best portable building solutions and finance options.
• Keeping the CRM database updated with all sales activity.
