Freelance Industrial Scaffolding Health & Safety Manager 

Brief Outline 

An industry leading company in the scaffolding sector requires a Freelance Health & Safety Manager on site for a energy plant project in the Essex area for a 1 year+ contract. 

The client is looking for someone who has a background in industrial scaffolding work, a NEBOSH qualification and background in a H&S role.

The client has been active in the scaffolding sector for over 25 years with an established client base and consistent work across the UK.   

About the Role 

• Compile Site Audits and Safety Reports 
• Ensure all RAMS are continually updated and correctly implemented 
• Ensure full accident investigation duties are completed
• Compile ongoing records of inspection findings
• Involvement with client contact and site meetings 
• Reporting into Group H&S Director 
• Assist with in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.

About the Candidate 

• Previous experience in overseeing scaffolding works from a H&S background or management background 
• NEBOSH qualification 
• Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise 
• Analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety guidelines
