About the Role:
The contract Manager will be responsible for:
- Financial monitoring and control of the contracts, ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance is maintained
- Allocate HS&E responsibilities and duties for site personnel, producing risk assessments and method statements for site installations
- Manage construction sites and sub-contractors
- Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to
- deliver the scheme without delays
- Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out
- Attend tender handover meetings and pre-start meetings on site.
- Deliver projects without safety incidents, within time and to budget
About the Candidate
- Working as a Site, project Contract, or Programme manager within architectural metalwork/steelwork/construction sectors
- Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting
- Knowledge of the NEC contract including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms
- SMSTS
- CSCS card
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor
- Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
