About the Role:

The contract Manager will be responsible for:

• Financial monitoring and control of the contracts, ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance is maintained
• Allocate HS&E responsibilities and duties for site personnel, producing risk assessments and method statements for site installations
• Manage construction sites and sub-contractors
• Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to
• deliver the scheme without delays
• Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out
• Attend tender handover meetings and pre-start meetings on site.
• Deliver projects without safety incidents, within time and to budget

About the Candidate 

• Working as a Site, project Contract, or Programme manager within architectural metalwork/steelwork/construction sectors
• Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting
• Knowledge of the NEC contract including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms
• SMSTS
• CSCS card
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor
• Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
