About the role:

• Build and assemble wooden components and structures, such as cabinets, doors, windows, and furniture, according to specifications and technical drawings.
• Select, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools and machinery, ensuring precision and quality.
• Sand, stain, and finish woodwork to a high standard, applying appropriate treatments and finishes as required.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications.
• Maintain and repair joinery tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

About the Candidate:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and woodworking machinery; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
