Job Description:

The company is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor or a Trainee Estimator with experience in windows, doors, and curtain walling to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will support the projects from inception to completion, assisting with cost management, procurement, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for windows, doors, and curtain walling projects
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements for materials and labor
• Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure project delivery within budget and timeline
• Assist with contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts
• Support senior quantity surveyors and project managers as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience or coursework in windows, doors, and curtain walling projects
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction industry software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam)
• Eligible to work in the UK
