Role Purpose:
Due to continuous growth and securing a number large scale / long term Passive Fire contracts nationally, our client is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager with experience of working across various sectors in social housing, local authority, education, healthcare and commercial.

Key Responsibilities:
Management:
- Managing all aspects of multiple projects and contracts from survey, pricing, mobilisation, delivery through to handover
- Planning, organising and delivering projects with zero defects, on-time and in budget whilst always striving to achieve customer satisfaction
- Assist with design, lead the procurement process, and assist with surveying, oversee installations and commissioning processes.
- Manage and Co-ordinate – Quality inspections / Residents Engagement Sessions
- Contract & Project planning – setting out workflow targets to ensure completion dates are met.
Finance:
- Liaising closely with the Company’s finance department to ensure that jobs are invoiced in a timely manner and that applications for payment are submitted when necessary.
- Assist in finalising all accounts.
- Complete project valuation and ‘cost to complete’ reports
- Manage and report on project budgets and P&L through SAGE
Customer Liaison:
- Maintaining and building strong professional relationships with the client representatives – surveyors, building managers and design teams.
- Attend client and internal meetings from pre-contract, progress, commissioning to post contract.
Management of Resources:
- Provide leadership, assistance and technical advice to a team of passive fire operatives to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
- Management of directly employed engineers
- Identification, vetting, procurement and management of sub-contractors
- Oversee Health and Safety, site engineering staff and both supervisory staff / Sub Contractors
- Administrate and monitor compliance software
Information:
- Organising and collating paperwork including, Working Drawings & Handovers Packs taking client briefing notes, submitting schedule of works.
- A good understanding of forms or Main and Sub Contract documents.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in passive fire protection management of large-scale projects
- Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
- Displays strong leadership skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- PC literate
- Commercially aware
Essential Requirements:
- Must have Passive Fire Protection Project Management/Supervision experience
- Firas Card Holder (Supervisor Level)
- Current industry knowledge and networking
- Good knowledge of trade products and solutions
- NVQ in Passive Fire or IFE lvl2 – Passive Fire
- SMSTS qualified/CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
