About the Role:
As an Electrical Contracts manager you will be joining a dynamic team and will be:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the project team.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and standards.
- Reporting to project directors, identifying risks, and ensuring they are reported, managed and mitigation measures are put in place.
- Develop an understanding of our client’s needs and ensure accurate and factual communications with the client.
- Issue purchase orders for electrical materials, equipment, and services, ensuring accuracy in specifications and quantities
- Monitor the status of orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
- Manage the execution of electrical projects from start to finish, coordinating resources and scheduling to meet project milestones.
About the Candidate
- Previous experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager
- Previous experience in electrical testing, emergency lighting, and fire alarms would be beneficial
- Prior experience working with public sector clients would be useful
- Must have electrical knowledge/qualification
- Prior public sector experience with social housing and government buildings
- Strong man manager
- Prior electrical testing experience
- Able to multi-task a number of smaller projects
