About the Role:

As an Electrical Contracts manager you will be joining a dynamic team and will be:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the project team.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and standards.
  • Reporting to project directors, identifying risks, and ensuring they are reported, managed and mitigation measures are put in place.
  • Develop an understanding of our client’s needs and ensure accurate and factual communications with the client. 
  • Issue purchase orders for electrical materials, equipment, and services, ensuring accuracy in specifications and quantities
  • Monitor the status of orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Manage the execution of electrical projects from start to finish, coordinating resources and scheduling to meet project milestones.

About the Candidate

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager
  • Previous experience in electrical testing, emergency lighting, and fire alarms would be beneficial
  • Prior experience working with public sector clients would be useful
  • Must have electrical knowledge/qualification
  • Prior public sector experience with social housing and government buildings
  • Strong man manager
  • Prior electrical testing experience
  • Able to multi-task a number of smaller projects
