About the Role:
- Evaluate incoming inquiries to ensure they are in line with company capabilities and capacity.
- Preparation of all pre-contract and design tender submissions, working from client-supplied information – visuals, drawings, and/or bills of quantities for commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-outs.
- Calculation of estimates for fabricated joinery based upon first principal costing basis.
- Follow up on all quotations to evaluate the client’s feedback in respect to the submission.
- Revise quotations in response to any design alterations from the client or end-user.
- Identify and value engineer solutions to align with the client’s budget and expectations.
- Attend pre-contract meetings with clients and designers as required to establish design requirements.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers of bespoke materials and fabricated items.
- Conduct handover meetings with project managers to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the tendered concept and to budget.
- Provide support to project managers during the manufacturing and installation. period of all orders.
- Regular contact with key account customers to proactively search for new enquiries.
About the Candidate:
- 5-10 years experience within the joinery sector
- Must have a thorough knowledge of fitted furniture installations.
- Flexible self-starter with the ability to prioritise.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good general IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
