About the Role:
The Quantity Surveyor will play a vital role in managing all costs related to their construction projects and be responsible for estimating, budgeting, cost control, and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Accurately estimate costs for timber engineering projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets.
- Administer contracts and negotiate with subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Prepare financial reports and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
About the Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in timber engineering.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
