An industry leading, multi-disciplined contractor in the demolition market requires a Contracts Manager to oversee various projects
The contracts manager will be responsible for overseeing ongoing progress of projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are being followed.
The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the company’s projects and its progress.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager with demonstrable experience in Structural Steelwork to come on board to help run jobs and deal with technical problems when they arise in both steelwork and cladding.
Brief Outline
• An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scaffolding Design Manager to join our client’s technical team and progress the department throughout the company’s ongoing expansion.
• The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their various projects and their progress.

• They work on a diverse range of projects from commercial refurbishment, civils and infrastructure projects, through to large new build residential jobs.
• They have an excellent reputation for the quality and work with a number of tier 1 main contractors and developers.
• Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for next year already.
About the Role
• In this role you will be mainly office based, with the occasional site and client visits where required, while carrying out full Design Management duties.
• You will be responsible for the formal reporting of each project where you will report to the Operations Director as well as working with other management staff.
• Managing in house scaffolding designers and external outsourced resources.
• You will ensure that the planning, management and coordination is successful and that financial control within the project margin is maintained.
• The ideal candidate will have an in-depth scaffolding design background and CAD experience. You will also be able to lead and manage a design office.
About the Candidate
• Previous experience in design scaffolding for large scale residential and commercial projects
• Experience in design management is preferable
• Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge and understanding of joinery, carpentry and fit-out industry
