Veneer Production Planner

Location: Essex
Hours: 42.5 hours per week – 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
 Contract: Permanent, full-time

The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Veneer Production Planner to join their team. The role requires strong technical knowledge of veneer materials and a meticulous approach to planning and quality control. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and selecting appropriate veneer species and cuts for each project
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to plan veneer layouts
• Cutting and joining veneer to required specifications
• Managing veneer stock and workflow to ensure efficient production
• Collaborating with production teams to meet quality and deadline expectations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in veneer preparation and production planning
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good organisational and planning skills to ensure efficient production processes
• Must have a valid driving licence due to company location
