About the Role

• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for lightning protection and height safety systems.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work scope documents.
• Draft detailed proposals, incorporating equipment, labor, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs, provide technical insight, and contribute to solution development.
• Respond to client inquiries with technical support and recommendations.
• Attend site visits, as needed, to assess project requirements and determine scope.

About the Candidate

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating or technical sales experience in the construction, lightning protection, or height safety industry.
• Understanding of lightning protection and height safety standards (e.g., BS EN 62305, BS EN 365).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to produce precise estimates.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
