Position: Technical Sales Engineer – Underfloor Heating
Location: Midlands with travel to North, East Anglia, and North London
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum + Bonuses
Benefits: Full Benefits Package + Company Car (Hybrid or Electric)
About the Client
Our client is leading in design, supply, and installation of underfloor heating to M&E contractors, developers, builders, merchants, and end-users.
About the Role
- Develop a thorough understanding of the technical features and benefits of the company’s products or services.
- Stay updated on product developments and industry trends.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements.
- Provide tailored solutions, demonstrating how the product can solve specific problems or improve efficiency.
- Work closely with engineers and product development teams to customize solutions when necessary.
- Work with the sales team to identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and webinars to potential clients.
- Answer detailed questions about product capabilities, performance, and compatibility with other systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in technical sales, with experience selling into M&E contractors and/or developers.
- Field sales experience within plumbing & heating or related sectors (e.g., HVAC products, mechanical products, renewables, heating controls, commercial boilers, radiators, valves, etc).
- Knowledge and experience with underfloor heating systems.
- Self-motivation, confidence, resilience, drive, and ambition.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
