The ideal candidate will take proactive ownership of project design packages to ensure optimisation of designs for all elements of the building envelope. Efficient preparation of design output whilst education, coaching & support of all internal stakeholders to enhance designs, whilst ensuring improved technical, programme & budgetary performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and design objectives
• Develop detailed roofing plans, including material specifications, layout drawings, and installation instructions
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and efficient roofing designs
• Stay current on industry trends, building codes, and best practices for roofing design
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and project teams
• Conduct site visits to assess existing roof conditions and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements

Qualifications:

• (Desired) Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing design and construction
• Proficiency in CAD/ Revit /Inventor / Sketchup software and other design tools
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
