About the Role
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and remain within the allocated budget.
- Prepare tender documents, bill of quantities (BOQ), and pricing schedules for joinery works.
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and suppliers, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Assist in the negotiation and drafting of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure that all contracts are administered correctly, complying with legal and project-specific requirements
- Prepare regular financial reports for project managers and clients, keeping them informed of the project’s financial status.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors to resolve any financial or contractual issues.
About the Candidate
- Familiarity with drylining techniques, materials, and best practices is crucial
- Proficiency in preparing accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for drylining projects.
- A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in cost estimates and project documentation.
- Ability to identify issues quickly and propose effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Knowledge of contract law and experience in administering contracts effectively.
