Senior Quantity Surveyor (Internal Fit Out)

About the Client

My Client has grown from humble joinery beginnings their expertise has developed to include full fit-out of specific areas within a commercial building and  assisted in delivering 1,000’s of units for various contractors and developers over the years ranging from city centre developments to full regeneration schemes 

Responsibilities:

About the Role:

  • Managing the value and cost management of complex fit out packages.
  • Managing communications between the team, clients and stakeholders to meet project supply and delivery targets.
  • Delivering profitability on assigned work packages and working with others to ensure the delivery of commercial targets across the project.
  • Managing risk and change in assigned work packages.
  • Working with the legal team to draft agreements and contract documents.
  • Providing commercial advice and support to the Mace and client teams.
  • Producing monthly client applications and cost value reconciliations (CVRs).
  • Building effective working relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
  • Implementing and monitoring administrative and management systems in support of the existing project control system and process.
  • Monitoring and managing compliance with commercial agreements.
  • Presenting in regular project cost reports and risk meetings.

About the Candidate:

  • Experience in the commercial management of complex packages and the capacity to provide commercial advice and support. 
  • Proven record of achieving key results, and experience in providing advice on contractual matters, closing out processes, monitoring and ensuring contractual compliance.
  • HND/HNC/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Cost/Commercial Management OR evidence of comparable qualifications and/or experience. 
  • You have experience managing either Commercial, Leisure, Retail OR Hotel Fit Out packages (£20mil + )
