Senior Print Finisher/Vinyl Cutter 

About the company:

Our client is an award-winning retail window and pop-up display company and are currently recruiting for an experienced Large Format Print Finisher to join their print department. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out print finishing tasks as part of the daily running of the business (mounting, laminating, cutting, etc.)
• Running finishing equipment (laminators, CAD-cutting table, plotters, etc.)
• Ready to help out in other parts of the business as and when required
• Carry out daily and other regular maintenance of finishing machinery
• Quality control of finished items is essential
• Update production and factory managers to ensure daily targets are on track

Required skills:

• Experience in running and maintaining print finishing equipment is paramount (preferably expert with Zünd cutting tables)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is preferred but not essential
• Strong understanding of the print process. Ideally the candidate will have good knowledge of all areas of digital print.
• Good skills in applying vinyls to difficult surfaces is a distinct advantage
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written – is required
