We are currently recruiting for a growing independent business based in South West London that is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Manager to join their Active Fire Protection team.
They work with a diverse range of clients – and with 85% of the work based within the M25.
About the Candidate:
We’re looking for a Senior Fire Alarm Commissioning Manager who:
- Experience managing a team of Fire Alarm Engineers – managing their schedule, mentoring their development, and ensuring their work is up to standard.
- Is a confident Project Manager – capable to oversee multiple small works / installation / upgrades to existing systems as well as routine maintenance of installed systems.
- Is conversant with the appropriate commissioning, servicing, and installation clauses within the relevant parts of BS5839, BS7671, Building Regulations, and any other relevant standards, and be capable of applying these to the commissioning and servicing of installed systems.
- Is capable of Fire Alarm Design, Technical reviews and managing estimating / quote process.
- Working independently, or as leader of a dynamic install / service team.
- Responding to technical queries from our valued clients.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
- Experience with Gent, Notifier, Kentec or EMS.
- Comprehensive understanding of British Standards (BS5839-1), BAFE / FIA.
- FIA Certification
- Full UK Drivers Licence
