About the Client

Our client is a leading provider of control and protection equipment, supporting a range of industries including chemical, petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, power & energy, utilities, and renewables.

This is an exciting full-time role for a Sales Manager specializing in Control & Protection equipment, covering generator controllers, Microgrid Energy Management Systems (EMS), protection relays, HMIs, PLCs, and switchboard equipment. You will be key in driving sales and managing client relationships within the Power Generation and Marine industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and win new business opportunities in the Power Generation and Marine sectors
  • Manage existing accounts and achieve defined growth targets
  • Plan and organize client visits to maximize face-to-face engagement
  • Develop strategic account plans to meet sales quotas
  • Build strong product knowledge and market awareness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering and product development teams to align customer needs with product offerings

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales within the Power Generation or Marine industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
  • A strong track record of lead generation and closing business deals
  • Ability to create and manage account development strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.

This role offers flexible working, with occasional UK & Ireland travel, and product training will be provided.
