About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for fire doors and doorsets to achieve revenue and market share growth.
- Identify potential new markets and clients within the construction industry, targeting contractors, architects, property developers, and facility managers.
- Stay informed of industry standards, fire safety regulations, and certification requirements to keep the company’s offerings competitive.
- Possess a solid understanding of fire door regulations and certification standards (e.g., BM TRADA).
- Educate clients on compliance requirements, certification, and product options to ensure their projects meet fire safety standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and conditions to close sales while ensuring profitability.
- Collaborate with legal and financial departments to finalize contracts and agreements.
About the Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in sales, preferably in the construction, doors, or fire safety industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety and fire door certification processes (such as BM TRADA, Q-Mark).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
