We are currently looking for a Quantity surveyor to take on various fire protection projects (Incl. fire doors, fire & smoke curtains, fire & acoustic penetration seals & acoustics cavity barriers.)

About our client 

The opportunity is for a well-established contractor, working on medium to large contracts.  They have been established for the past 15 years and have a well-respected reputation within the PFP sector.

About the Candidate 

• Preferably HNC/ HND/ BSc degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent  
• Familiar with site visits and client-facing activity
• Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy, and communication skills in English
• Computer literacy in MS Office, Project

About the Role 

• Working with the Commercial Manager to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Undertaking costing analysis, take-offs, and procurement schedules
• Monthly reporting
• Applications for payment
• Identifying and negotiating variations
• Material requisitions to the Buying department
• Attend meetings with clients and colleagues  
• Approve Sub-Contractor valuations
• Final Account agreements
