Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit Out & Passive Fire

Our client, a well-established contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role involves overseeing and managing the successful commercial delivery of interior fit-out, passive fire, and carpentry projects from initiation to completion. The projects range from small orders to large-scale programmes across healthcare, commercial, social housing, and education sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and control costs on projects, ensuring financial efficiency.

Provide expert advice on contractual and technical terms.

Submit monthly applications for payment and ensure timely invoicing.

Collaborate with site teams to manage costs and maximise value.

Set and monitor labour targets to enhance productivity.

Order materials, plant, and subcontractor services as required.

Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Maintain strong client relationships to support ongoing business success.

Mentor and develop trainees, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Key Requirements:

Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within Construction or Facilities Management.

Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Customer-focused approach, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Background in technical and compliance aspects of construction.

A relevant qualification in Construction or Facilities Management is advantageous but not essential.
