A company in the flooring sector is currently looking a Project Manager or Junior Contracts Manager to join their young vibrant team as soon as possible. Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience managing and working on flooring and or kitchen projects.
- Underflooring heating experience is an advantage.
- Leadership experience.
- Commercial awareness is as well as good understanding of project budgets.
- Highly motivated and wanting to advance and group in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of flooring and underfloor heating projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and design intent
- Oversee installation of various flooring systems, coordinating closely with underfloor heating teams for efficient sequencing and integration
- Review technical drawings and site conditions to ensure compatibility of floor finishes with heating solutions (screed, timber, tile, etc.)
- Plan and schedule works, coordinating subcontractors and internal teams across multiple active sites
- Conduct pre-start meetings, risk assessments, and ensure all RAMS and H&S compliance are in place prior to works commencing
- Monitor project progress against programme and budget, addressing risks, delays, or variations proactively
- Maintain accurate site documentation including material orders, delivery schedules, and installation records
- Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Lead snagging and handover processes, ensuring all QA and performance testing are completed to high standards
- Continuously evaluate and refine installation methods and sequencing to enhance efficiency and project delivery quality
Additional Information:
Salary: £50 000 to £60 000 per annum plus work-related travel allowance.
Location: Sites around North London to Cambridge areas.
