BRIEF OVERVIEW

A leading firm with expertise in designing and installing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) building services is actively seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team, based in Loughton.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• To ensure the company maintains its competitive edge through professional and meticulous management of projects, costings, cash flow, and supervision of suppliers and subcontractors. 
• Collaborating closely with the Procurement Department to uphold high standards of installation and material quality, meeting specified requirements. 
• Responsibilities include overseeing financial reports, contributing to monthly Trading Reviews (CVR Reports) for presentation to Company Directors, and preparing monthly applications/valuations with variation breakdowns and final account negotiations. 
• Managing subcontract accounts involves negotiating variation accounts, issuing payment certificates, and final account settlements. 
• Providing support to the accounts team by reviewing Supplier and Subcontract accounts, including variation accounts. 
• Supervising supplier orders and assisting buyers in negotiating large-ticket items. 
• Additionally, preparing and issuing subcontractor orders. 
• Reviewing all client contracts, identifying risks and variances compared to tender submissions for director review and approval. 
• Ideally, candidates should possess a degree alongside an industry-recognised QS qualification.

SALARY PACKAGE

• Salary: £50,000k – £80,000 per year negotiable depending on experience
