About the Role 

  • They are preferably looking for a degree / HNC/ HND qualified candidate in Quantity Surveying/ Commercial Management/ Construction Management or related discipline who would like to develop their career with a cost estimating function. 
  • The candidate will be trained and develop their skills in cost estimating for large scale, multi million pound projects across the UK.  
  • :Handle contracts between clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Negotiate terms, prepare contractual documentation, and ensure all parties fulfill their contractual obligations. 
  • Measure and value work on-site, often using specialized software, to prepare applications for payment, interim valuations, and final accounts.

About the Candidate 

  • Degree / HNC/ HND qualified preferably  

  • Any previous experience in a commercial/ surveying/ estimating function for the construction or industrial industry would be a bonus  

  • Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy and communication in English.  

  • Computer literacy in MS Office 

  • Flexible self-starter with the ability to prioritise
