The Role:

Our client is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Site Manager to lead their Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) projects focused on passive fire and fire doors works. In this role, you’ll be at the helm of ensuring these projects run smoothly, are completed on time, and stay within budget. You’ll also be responsible for making sure that buildings are safe and compliant, while working closely with their clients to meet their needs and expectations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage FRA and remedial action projects to meet quality, time, and cost targets.
  • Proactively plan and organize work to ensure project delivery.
  • Oversee team administration and manage deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide project updates.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary.
  • Manage project risks, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems when needed.
  • Train and manage office staff and field engineers, building effective teams.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships and generate new leads.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and availability of information to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control FRA remedial actions in line with delivery plans and timescales.
  • Prepare and present results, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage the performance of the FRA team.

About you:

  • Proven experience in management and applying relevant methodologies.
  • Experience with FRA projects, social housing, or health and safety compliance.
  • 3+ years’ experience within the fire protection sector
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
