Contracts Manager – Commercial Flooring

Our client is a well-established commercial flooring contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality installations across a range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial offices, and retail spaces. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a proactive Contracts Manager to oversee flooring projects across the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple flooring contracts across Bristol, Somerset, Devon, and surrounding areas.

• Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, from pre-start meetings to handover.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works are completed on time and to specification.

• Conduct regular site visits and attend progress meetings with clients and main contractors.

• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to across all sites.

• Monitor project budgets and maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within the flooring industry.

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial flooring systems (vinyl, LVT, carpet tiles, safety flooring, etc.).

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects across a regional area.

• CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications preferred.

• Full UK driving licence essential.
