About the Client

My Client is  proud to be the leading name in commercial roofing solutions – specialising in the re-roofing of existing buildings. 

Due to continued growth, we are looking to grow our in house team, and have an opportunity for a Flat Roofing Supervisor / Junior Flat Roofing Contracts Manager to join the team.

This is a great opportunity to someone looking to make a move away from being on the tools full time and seek a long term position as a supervisor eventually moving into contracts management.

The Flat Roofing Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and managing the quality and H&S of flat roofing projects as well as ensuring the efficient delivery of commercial roofing projects.

We are looking for candidates with experience in the installation of flat roofing systems, a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements and driven to progress within the construction section.

We will provide all the necessary training and progression opportunities to help you develop your career off the tools.

About the Role

The role itself will progress into a full contracts management position over time and dependent on the successful achievement of a well-structured development plant.

To be considered for the role, you must have the following experience / skills:

• Significant experience in Felt, Liquid & Single Ply roofing systems, with examples of high quality work with various manufacturers.
• Experience in managing teams on site
• Excellent understanding and implementation of site Health & Safety
• Driving licence
• Ambitious and looking to develop into further project management positions.
• Good understanding of IT and various computer systems
• Well-presented and excellent interpersonal skills

About the Candidate

• Experience in pitched roof refurbishment and in depth technical knowledge
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• People management experience
• An excellent understanding of Construction Health & Safety
• Ambitious and driven, seeking a long-term role and being capable of building and leading a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,500.00-£45,500.00 per year
