Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end commercial fit-out sector in the UK is currently looking for a Fit-out Estimator to join their team.

The role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for prestigious fit-out projects within commercial buildings, education, healthcare, and workplace sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed quotations and tender returns based on architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Liaise with internal departments (design, production, and contracts) to ensure clarity and accuracy in costings
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities and provide commercial input during design stages
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required, occasionally visiting project sites
• Assist with project handovers to the delivery team

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous estimating experience within interior fit-out, washrooms, joinery, or specialist subcontracting
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Commercially astute with excellent numeracy and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Experience using estimating software or Excel to compile BOQs and take-offs
