About the role

Identifying areas of concern on PFP Compartmentation works & Fire Doorsets.
Writing reports on what improvements need to be made to ensure the Passive Fire Protection is compliant.
Using software to log information to ensure a smooth process.
Providing technical advice for the project delivery team.
Identifying points for correction on fire door and compartmentation lines.
Post work inspections.
Assisting your Contracts Manager.
 

About the Candidate:

As an ambitious, innovative and fast paced business they are looking for a like-minded Fire Door Inspector & Surveyor who will likely come from a Fire Door / Carpentry background who has:

• At least 2 year’s experience working specifically as a Fire Door Surveyor.
• A strong background in carpentry and joinery (NVQ Level 2 – Carpentry or Joinery preferred.)
• Some experience installing/upgrading/maintaining & repairing existing doors.
• Knowledge of Fire Door standards – FDIS, FIRAS, BM Trada, Bluesky IFC or BRE training beneficial – and familiarity with simPRO and OneTrace or equivalent like BORIS, Bolster etc.
• Full UK Drivers Licence (Essential) & enhanced DBS check.
