About the role:
The main duties of a Fire Alarm Engineer include:
- Servicing of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, emergency lights, nurse call systems and small works and repairs
- Carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks on a varied customer base
- Working in commercial businesses
- Use existing knowledge and experience to fault find
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Offer training to clients and end-users on fire alarm system usage and best practices for fire safety.
- Provide regular updates to the operations manager on project progress and any issues encountered.
About the Candidate:
The Fire Alarm Engineer should:
- Be Living in Kent or East Sussex area
- Possess experience of servicing fire alarm systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and colleagues. Possess Good customer service skills
- Be Self motivated and methodical problem-solver
- Possess a full UK driving licence
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics.
