Our client is a long-established contractor in the London. As a company, they deliver specialist Joinery and Fit out contracts amongst other related areas. They have worked on some of the most prestigious commercial and infrastructure projects in the region over their history.

Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for the year ahead already.

About the Role 

They are looking to recruit an ambitious Joinery Estimator who has the desire to become a senior management figure in their commercial team.

• Providing accurate and detailed estimates for internal and external bespoke joinery items.
• Liaising alongside the Project Manager on tender submissions.
• Replying to general information requests.
• Ordering materials
• Improving efficiency of process from enquiry to proposal.
• Providing administrative support to the bespoke joinery division.

The successful candidate will be working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager and Managing Director, as well as fellow management staff based on site.

About the Candidate 

• Knowledge of the joinery industry from production through to install, interpreting plans, sketches and concepts.
• Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise 
• Analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good general IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
