About our Client 

Well established exteriors contractor looking for an experienced Estimator to enhance their current team. Project sizes vary but can be upwards of £5M. The successful candidate will have a proven history working within Curtain Walling Sector. 

About the Role 

• Must have had exposure to client meetings as they need to be confident and able to converse with clients and customers of all levels. 

• They need to be able to take the initial enquiry, through the estimating process to handover of the project to the operational team. 

• Need to possess enough technical & commercial knowledge to be able to generate new enquiries from existing customer base and importantly, new clients. 

• Negotiating costs 

• Excellent knowledge of the façade sector 

• Accurate, timely and competitive 

About the Candidate 

• Minimum 3 years within a similar role Curtain Walling/ Façade /Cladding 

• Live a commutable distance to London & Surroundings 

• Have good negotiating skills as you will be negotiate with all kinds of people, from site workers to directors 

• Technical qualifications in Glass, Aluminium or Facades preferred 

• Ability to interpret technical and architectural drawings to ensure accurate pricing 

• Logical thinking and structured approach to working 

• Results Focus: sets ambitious goals and reaches them efficiently (effectively, without involving extensive resources)
