About the role:
- Installation, Commissioning, service, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems
- Carrying out site surveys and ensuring that the client is satisfied with the servicing
- Documentation of job reports through the Company’s service system
- Providing premium service to customers at all times
- Mount and wire devices while ensuring proper configuration and integration with the overall building fire safety system.
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Participate in training and certification programs to ensure a high level of competency and knowledge within the industry.
About the Candidate:
Applicants must have good client communication skills and be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
- Good working knowledge of working on networked fire alarm systems
- Strong technical knowledge of various fire alarm systems, including conventional, addressable, and wireless systems.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing the above systems
- Experience in working with Gent, Advanced, Morley systems, and Aspirating Systems
- Knowledge of BS5839 and BAFE is essential
- Must be FIA qualifications (FIA Units or Foundation route)
- Full UK driving license
- FIA (Fire Industry Association) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
