Electrical Contracts Manager/Project Manager – EV charging division

Roles/Responsibilities

Contract Management:

  • Oversee electrical installation and maintenance works, ensuring quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for key clients, maintaining strong relationships. Manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to KPIs and high workmanship standards.
  • Verify electrical installations and certifications in line with NICEIC and BS7671 guidelines.

Project Management:

  • Plan, schedule, and deliver projects effectively, ensuring no delays.
  • Manage procurement and ensure cost control while maintaining value.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage project-related risks.

Quality Management:

  • Conduct quality audits and verify engineering reports and certifications.
  • Deliver follow-up recommendations and quotes to clients post-project.

Compliance & Accreditations:

  • Support maintaining company accreditations (e.g., ISO9001:2015 & ISO45001:2018).
  • Ensure all work complies with professional standards, laws, and company policies.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • JIB Approved Electrician – ECS Gold card (Black card desirable).
  • NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor status (or willingness to achieve).
  • CITB SMSTS/SSSTS and C&G 3291. Minimum of 7 years as an Approved Electrician.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Desirable:

  • Electric Vehicle Charging and Solar PV qualifications.
  • Battery storage and security systems knowledge.
  • EUSR SCO modules (1, 2 & 5) and EUSR SHEA Gas.
  • FIA Fire detection and alarm systems certification.
  • SC-level security clearance eligibility (clean criminal record required).
