A leading demolition contractor is seeking an experienced Demolition Site Manager

 About our Client

They are part of a group of companies that turnover £180M providing a full ‘turn key’ pre-development enabling works specialising in Demolition & Dismantling, Remediation, and Bulk Earthwork.

 About the Role:

The Demolition Site Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing demolition activities while ensuring safety, compliance with regulations, and efficient project completion. The Demolition Site Manager will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of demolition techniques, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

 Collaborates with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive demolition plans, including scheduling, resources, and equipment requirements.

  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to evaluate potential risks, structural considerations, and environmental impact.
  • The Demolition Site Manager Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, effectively to achieve project goals within budget and timeframe.
  • Coordinates with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials and equipment.
  • The Demolition Site Manager supervises and leads the demolition team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Manages subcontractors and external service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • The Demolition Site Manager oversees the demolition process, including site preparation, equipment operation, debris removal, and waste disposal.
  • Monitors progress, quality, and productivity, making adjustments as needed to ensure project milestones are met.

About the Candidate:

 Proven experience in managing demolition projects, with a strong understanding of demolition techniques and regulations

  • Must have CSCS Gold Card or higher and CCDO Card
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction and demolition industry
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license
