An opportunity for an experienced Business Development Lead to expand industrial energy and decarbonisation services, focusing on both retrofit and new-build projects. This role involves working with large industrial clients to improve energy efficiency and sustainability through tailored solutions, including Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and advanced insulation technologies.

Roles/Responsibilities

•    Lead the development and expansion of industrial energy and decarbonisation services.
•    Develop and deliver energy solutions for industrial clients, covering retrofit and new-build projects under Design & Build, Operations & Maintenance, and Energy Performance Contracts.
•    Manage complex tender processes and craft winning proposals tailored to industrial energy needs.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Operational, Financial, Legal, and HR teams to shape and present high-impact solutions.
•    Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM to track and optimise business development efforts.
•    Build and sustain senior-level relationships with key industrial clients across various sectors.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

•    Minimum five years’ experience in energy sector sales or business development, with a focus on industrial energy solutions.
•    Strong knowledge of decarbonisation technologies and their application in industrial settings.
•    Experience in tendering and contract negotiation for industrial energy projects.
•    Proven success in solution sales with deal values of £5 million or more.
