Bookkeeper
A well-established construction company is looking for a Bookkeeper to join its team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and experience in reconciliations, reporting, and internal audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with management accounts and financial reporting.
- Handle inter-company invoicing and reconciliations.
- Oversee VAT, PAYE, and CIS returns.
- Manage the fixed assets register and hire purchase accounts.
- Carry out bank and control account reconciliations.
- Provide holiday cover for Payroll and Purchase Ledger.
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance.
About You:
- Strong finance background with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SAGE and Excel.
- Experience in managing teams and workload effectively.
- Knowledge of internal costing processes.
- Construction industry experience (preferred).
