Responsibilities:
• As an Area Sales Manager, you will be the primary contact for new sales inquiries in your designated region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, main contractors, and roofing & cladding contractors.
• Promote the company’s range of metal cladding systems, focusing on specification sales to architects and project stakeholders.
• Drive business growth by generating new sales opportunities and managing existing client relationships.
• Use your consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, solving problems and presenting tailored cladding solutions.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients and partners throughout the specification and installation phases.
• Write detailed specifications, quotations, and survey reports for clients.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve sales targets and commercial objectives, driving territory growth.
Requirements:
• Proven track record in sales, specifically within the metal cladding or construction sector.
• Experience in specification sales, including working with architects, contractors, and roofing/cladding contractors.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to solve customer problems effectively.
• Full, valid UK driving license.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
